i went to a truck parts supplier and rummaged around their fuel hose supplies until i found a hose the correct ID. I do remember swollowing hard when old mate said the price, but it was a problem sorted and 10 years later it's still doing its job.

Going just over 7 years ago I used a length of this fuel resistant hose
To combine standard 130 tank spigot to the bottom of an auxiliary 75L tank under the tray.

    1 Meter 63mm ID (2.5") Oil & Fuel Resistant Straight Silicone Hose - B
    – SiliconeDirect

Linked OEM breather too new tank breather then up to filler.

Fill the aux tank from the front between the tray and cab
Fuel flows via that linking silicone into the main tank then once main is full it fills up the aux tank.

Any time I have 70-150L on board that linking hose is full of diesel

I just gave the old girl a good pressure wash on weekend and the hose and clamps look near as good as the day I installed em

Obviously 7 years ago I didn’t have to pay 150 Aussie pesos for a metre but such is life
