That's better than what an old workmate's father found in the B pillar of his XM/P Falcon. He bought the car new and soon took it back asking for the irregular noise to be fixed. Multiple visits to various dealerships failed to isolate the sound, often failing to replicate it. When the car was eight years old it was involved in a moderately serious bingle. In the course of repairing the car, an old glass Coke bottle was found dangling from a length of fishing line.
That must've been one seriously disgruntled employee, to forego the 5c deposit on the bottle.

I don't think the first of Jan is a public holiday in the UK.

We find all sorts of things in our game.
Taking panels off units, crawling around on top of cold and freezer rooms, you never know what you are going to find, apart from tools and multimeters left behind by others. And the occasional wildlife, snakes, rats, mice, possums, whatever.
There are also some pretty good artists in our trade, pretty good at drawing of all sorts of things, usually with a black nikko....

As for disgruntled employees,i went to start commissioning a large new chilled water plant in a high rise in the city.
Couldn't get any water flow down to one area, which had three chilled water air handlers.
Long story short, someone, had rolled up the newspaper each day and lodged it into the 6" steel pipe,so once the system was filled with water and the pumps run,the paper completely blocked one section of the job.
It was a tedious and expensive job to sort, and to make matters worse, all the pipework was lagged, system had to be drained, then the air bled out again, steel pipe cut and rewelded, some in cielings, etc, etc.
We had no idea what had caused the problem until we eventually found the blockage.

The issue was blamed on a recently sacked mechanical pipe welder.

    'Industrial disease'!
Utterly inconceivable in Japan, one of the reasons they eclipsed the British car industry.
