    Got bit the same the other day, tore the **** out of a pair of jeans. It was just after the last door-latch-bite thread. I hadn't been caught in a couple of years.

    Muahahahaaaaa.... it's a sad truth for those that know what you're talking about

    I need some more practice... went through 3 pairs in my first month of ownership but never in my S3 so guess different mechanism.

    So has anyone come up with any solutions to this little problem?

    Unbolt the doors and hacksaw off the mechanism


    or


    Gyrate your pelvis upon entering and exiting the car. And considering the lack of insulation in Defenders this option could honestly be used in conjunction with the phrase " Yeah Baby, I'm hot" with such a display of masculinity surely the only time your pants will get ripped in the future are from rampant females.

    i have never had the problem, i reckon you guys are approaching the seat from to far towards the back of the doorway....
