We put the Scorpion Racing one on our Defender, bought through Rovacraft, complete with Hi Lift mount. Fits well (fitted myself) and have no issues with it. Also all joints are greaseable. Opens with the door.

I am looking at putting a rear wheel carrier on my 07 fender. I would appreciate any opinions/views on the various brands for sale. Do any of them allow you to lock the wheel in the open position?

    thanks
I have a kaymar wheel holder on my 00 defender I can lock it open.

I have a Kaymar, and it is very solid but doesn't open with the door. People forget to open the carrier first and there are scratches and a dent from trying to open the door first. Putting the pin in to lock it open can be a pain when your hands are full too.

we have a pivot carrier on our 90 that locks open but that is a spring loaded catch so you swing it open, it gets to the notch the catch springs down and to shut lift the leaver and pull the carrier around until it the catch locks in its start position.......

but yes had a few people battling with the door and then ask why it wont open after they have reefed the bee jesus out of it
Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......
