ARB Simpson III roof tent and ARB awning fitted.
Booked in for window tint on Thursday so I'll update in the weekend with the camp set-up.
I will need a bit of muscle to get the Featherlite RTT up on the rack. looking at some newfangled LED spotlights this week. Check out my ride from last week.:) This actualy goes places even the Defender wont.
I had a roof tent on my old SWB Nissan GQ, so expected the little Deefer to handle similarly with the weight up there. I am very, very surprised. Even swinging around my local, small diameter roundabout, it sits very flat and doesn't feel anywhere near as "rolly" as the GQ. I've only driven around the block a couple of times and to the local train station on the freeway a couple of times. Tomorrow I head 54km's away and will take a few minor roads, still sealed unfortunately, and see how it feels then. So far, I am happy with it. I guess the fuel economy might suffer, so lucky I'm fitting another 90 litres of fuel tank capacity!
