My new 110 with shortened tray. 3.9L Disco V8, twin tailpipes sounds amazing. What are the switches either side of the of the hazards?

Can't wait to get it home and into the bush.
It's in great condition with a long list of well thought out mods that doesn't leave me much to do other than enjoy. First job will be to replace the ignition barrel as it's pretty hard to turn the key as it is.
Mods are: extra fuel (total 110L), 100W solar, second battery, power points throughout, uhf, front and rear bars, winch, 3/4 roof rack, spare wheel carrier, maxi drive rear axles, HD wheel flanges, HD steering, steering and diff guards, safari snorkel, spots and light bar, remap, awning, front runner drawers, led work lights in and out, catch can, 2nd fuel filter etc
    Stoked to join the club,
    Silas

The one on the right is the dome light/instrument lights. I don't recognise the LH switch, but on mi window demister.

    G'day all,
This is my 201 Defender Extreme 110.

I bought it standard with 156K on the clock. Has undergone something of a metamorphosis since then. Lifted, locked, protected and lots of fun.

    half a lap 'round oz

A couple of pics from a recent three month trip up to the Kimberleys (from Brisvegas). The little 90 pulled the rather large camper trailer (close to two tonnes all up) without any issues at all - almost 100% stock (mechanical/suspension) Defender from the factory (airbags fitted in the back springs to help even her up). Lots of camping mods of course, and I wouldn't give up the cruise control addition any time soon. Most of what's on the 90 are ideas I've seen and read on Aulro over the last couple of years - so thanks to all for sparking the 'oo, that's a must have' thoughts - and the hefty bill to match. Of course, if anyone knows how to 'dust proof' a defender... (no need to answer - unless you have the answer).

Modcon Campers, based in Brisvegas. This is their forward fold number - because who doesn't want a 'lounge room' when out 'camping' (says the boss lady). Although to be honest, waking up on an inner spring queen sized bed every night of an extended trip was a pretty fine experience. Alas, the camper's now up for sale (cheaper to buy and sell than to rent one).

Did a trip dargo-licola over this weekend. Started at blue rag and camped at the trig. The sunset is just amazing there. Next night we camped on the Wonnangatta river at the bottom of Herne spur. One of the boys saw a black snake as I had parked the 90 in the river to shower with the hot water system. The next day the aim was to camp on caledonia river. Started going down from howitt plain we were about 20 minutes in when I busted a shocker on the rear again. I had a spare this time and had a stock height Navara d40 with me who was 4x4ing for the first proper time. So decided to head back to howitt plain rd and camp close to licola on the Wellington river. The Nav was scrapping the underside of everything as soon as we hit caledonia so I made the call due to me not having my more spare shocks, a forecast of thunderstorms and the Nav with no lift. Didn't wanna be climbing out in the rain with the possibility of snapping one or more shocks and recovering the Nav at the same time.

I have now now booked in the 88series long travel koni in for a couple weeks time. The last 3 times I've been 4x4ing I have snapped a shocker. Time to change.

the high country is unbelievably picturesque

Whenever telling someone about this problem it's a guarantee your remark follows.

Another reason I need to change the suspension....
