Ill give it a few more days then tell them its no longer required. Its a shame, because I really do like there other stuff they have and was prepared to give them 99 percent of my business.

    Aaron,

picked mine up from Rovercraft yesterday - Call them up the guards are pretty much the same as O/L's.
Decent price - havent fitted it yet otherwise I would have a piccy 4 you.

Rovacraft - Land Rover, Range Rover parts and accessories.

They are the same as the Scorpionracing ones - identical as they import them.

Give them a bell - Melb. Syd. Perth.

Tell OL to stick it as thats a high price for a bit of Alloy IMHO

I've never seen a 10mm thick bash plate made by anyone other than the South African supplied OL number - may be wrong, but I think you'll find yours is 6mm.

Rovercraft - UK supplied one is made from 8mm alloy plate with bolt on anodised steel mounting brackets suitable for medium duty off roading.
Suits my needs and cheaper than the OL if $450 is correct.

OK mine is all straight again. Pulled it off. Used the high lift and car then pounded the rest flat with a mallet. Just like brand new. Mine is bearmach and yes it is 6mm. Tis a bit soft I thought. Problem with OL is one particular store owner seems pretty disinterested when it comes to landies. So my money goes elsewhere. If i have any probs with it in future I will use this plate as a template and just knock up a new one out of thicker alloy or some plate steel. It is just a flat plate with two easy bends and some holes cut in it.

If we are talking about the same store, they seem disinterested in anything, only go there if I have to. I don't like going to stores where the salespeople are all over you but at the other end of the spectrum I do expect a bit more than a pulse.
