Stevencam, Read your reply regarding duel battery system. Where did you purchase your custom plate. Could you still fit a Rotronics Control unit at the end of the box.

The installation was done at Shepparton 4WD. They just got a local fabricator to cut and fold some plate to the appropiate size. I have a piranha isolator fitted at the front of the box, I believe the rotonics units are quite a bit larger so may not fit in that location?Quote:

My second battery is mounted in the rear left wheel arch. I didnt do the fitting, it was there when I bought it but he has had a custom storage case welded into the wheel arch and its great! Easy access and probably easier if I ever plan to run a fridge etc from the rear. There are also 3 merit plugs for usage out of the rear of the vehicle and for the work light on the back.
Ill put some photos up to give you a better idea of how it all works...
