Not a huge amount you can do really.
Wind out the fuel pump and change the intercooler (but they cost a bit) There are also VNT turbo conversions available but they cost even more!
Cheers
Pete.

along with winding out the fuel pump you can mess with the boost pressure setting a little bit by adjusting the wastegate valve rod and then a little tweak on the boost compensator (part of the FIP) will bring it up a little faster.

Jock ;
Within the 300tdi Bosch Pump there are adjustment that can be made to improve the driveabiliy of your Vehicle ,
3 Adjustment
.Eccentric Cone / Diaphram Position
.Stop Screw
.Star Wheel adjustment
before you set out to do any tweeking , Please buy and install a Pyrometer ,don't set about doing any tweeking without being able to monitor how hot things are getting inside your engine ,
Also if engine is slightly down on Power have you checked following;
A) Valve Clearances 0.2 mm on intake and EggZost side
AIR Filter / Fuel Filter replaced etc
C) Intercooler / Turbo Hoses .
If you'd like to obtain a Pyrometer go here

Try this from the past some good info in here , and links , the search button is your freind

Maybe you could replace the exhaust with a 2.5" system strate through i don't know how much power you will gain though
Or you could upgrade the turbo and intercooler, new airfilter, new injectors etc.

On my Tdi i removed the main muffler and replaced it with a straight thru hot dog muffler , It made a slight difference at spool up
I had gas fitted to my 300tdi. It has a great increase in performance plus around 1000k per tank of diesel. Jim
