    Nudgebar for 07 Defender

I have to get a solid mounting point for my UHF aerial and some spotlights, but have decided against putting a full bullbar on. Having looked at various standard items from the UK, I am really only after a simple bar to bolt on to the existing bumper - really, really simple. Like this one on MOS90's...

Consequently I would like to know if anyone can recommend a decent metalworker/fabricator in the Brisbane area who I could go to. I have spoken with J&J Bullbars who do a standard nudgebar for around $500 but surely there are others. I also prefer to go on someone's recommendation rather than just cold calling.

Are you planning on putting in a winch?

Mines not a full bullbar but it is a winch bar. There are places to mount D/Lights and you could do a UHF as well.
Its the scorpionracing bar (From Rovacraft)

Yes I read you only wanted a Really really simple one - but figure its not that Unsimple. Still only 4 bolts. Also has the recovery points
It also allows me to add an aerial and sandflag if i need to.
Just an option from a simple person. If you talk to the guys at rovacraft they may be able to assist further for just an 'A' bar (think thats what they are called).

What about the standard plastic one? .. they are strong enough to handle a set of lights and antenna.

    With lights:

No plans for a winch and I really don't want to have to throw out the original bumper.

I'm also not a fan of the genuine plastic Land Rover nudge bar - certainly not at the price it is.

Nope - just a simple steel, black powdercoated bolt-on nudge bar with tabs for an aerial and spotties.

On the very first page they have a bar that I think would suit you just fine. Anything you see here I believe Rovercraft can get in for you. (02) 9700 8920 I think I've been talking to Andrew.

    Cheers,

I'm not a huge fan of the Bearmach stuff. I have trawled through their catalogue a few times and all their A-bars are either for non-A/C Defenders, or just a bit weird looking. I would also like to pay more for the bar and less getting it here.
