33'' do you need to change your gearing

just wondering how much dose running 33's effect the gearing on the county is the low range to tall. I can live with it in high range but if low is to tall its a pain in the butt.

Fine on my defender. I would actually like to have a higher ratio still for road use.

Second that.I'm getting D/gas fitted if the tank ever turns up and it will run out of gears long before it runs out of puff. Pat

The 3.5 has plenty of power, just not compared to modern engines. You can work them easily, remember when they came out most Jap 4wd's had 2.0-2.2 petrol-diesels that couldn't pull the skin off burnt milk. Pat

33's are fine (on my old 95 130fender), but my 35's are geared to high for steep decends
