Nice want to see some mud on it next time you post some pics..
It must be very quiet in the cab with carpet wouldn't be much road noise.
I like the road noise I cannot hear the missus or the kids in the 300tdi:
Very nice mate enjoy
yum.....
if only they did a version in white ;-) The seats look scrumptious. Hopefully you have one that doesn't leak onto the carpet
Happing svx'ing !

That grille is too bling for me.
I do like the clear indicator etc lights though.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

I really like those seats.
The SVX front looks "Startled" to meEyes wide open.
Great stuff Scotsmun & half your luck!
But now you can answer that buring question that's been keeping me awake at night and save me running off to ask Alan at Trivett - how do you access the battery under those sexy seats??
Best regards,
Greg
Funny enough i did it today, it was a driving me mad also.........you just pull the seat cushion off and unclip the fastener and slide the metal plate forward and voila it's all there, same on the passenger side to access the other bits you need to change a wheel.
Ah - great stuff!!
So did you take photos of that???
I'm curious if it really has specialised Recaro seats, or simply a rework of the standard seats?
I've got mates with the genuine Recaros fitted to their Defender - what a pain in the B@##s!! Getting in and out makes the eyes water!!!
Then there's those nice new 07 versions of the old seats that can be got for an arm and leg from the UK thru Trakkers....
Or re-trimming my old seats....
Anyway, maybe I do need to see one like yours up close and personal to know what's what.
Thanks and regards,
Greg

They are definitely recaros. I stopped over at Purnell Land Rover in Sydney a couple of days ago and was surprised to find an SVX, couple of G4 Challenge Defenders and a G4 D3 (fully kitted) I believe the Australian G4 Challenge trials were held last weekend and Purnell had to sort out the fleet after the weekend.
I cannot help but think that Land Rover is missing out on some serious Defender sales by not offering a G4 replica, also a special edition. It could be done for a lot less than the SVX and would be just as popular.
Perhaps it's just my ipod envy...
The cable looks the right length to me - allows the ipod to sit in the tray ... and stops it falling on the floor when it inevitably bounces out. And naughty-naughty for thinking of programming the thing while driving!
It's a clear sign you should never drive anywhere without inviting a fellow Landie enthusiast to co-pilot the ipod.
