I will give you money just to take it from you $1,000 and it will dissapear. You can get rid of it AND make money. Won't even ask for you to pay me for the effort.

Don't bother outbidding me you'll regret it. Once you pick it up you'll see how bad it is and just hand it to me. Happy for it to be dropped off though.

You have to be seriously devoted to drive a Series or County in the city actually they were not designed for that
They are heavy in the steering clunky in the gearbox etc.
You shouldn't condemn the 25 year old 3.5 litre motor for being a little gutless its probably r@@ted at best it probably needs a cam and lifters.
Presuming its a 4 speed so it will be a clunky b@stard.

Drive the clunky old swine to a cliff face with a gaggle of Toyotas and Nissans parked at the bottom drive it to the top get your fix and come back next week.

It will make it oh so much easier to drive in the city

I use a Series 3 Stage 1 daily with a fresh 3.5 in it and it will do any of the modern stuff I drive (special glasses on of course) lol

Ps put some cheap carpet (preferably marine we all know they leak) on the floor it will stop the heat
and who was the tool that raised it 2 inches to make it handle like crap ??

I hate it. The v8 is thirsty and underpowered. 100k's is 3400 revs. I cant be arsed spending money on mags, a decent motor, steering box, aircon, floor insulators and the like because its money down the drain. For those who enjoy your countys I commend you on your resilience and physical and mental strength.

But my opinion is **** box I may still keep it as purely a bush basher though.

So its got me thinking about mabe buying an auto Discovery for a little more comfort. I love the new ones but cant afford one for a year or so i guess I'll do some reading.
If you bought an auto Discovery you'd get a lot more comfort!
Having my first experiences of driving an Isuzu County recently I can sympathise about the lumpy box and the heavy clutch which would be a pain in city traffic, but then I hated any manual in city traffic! I'm pretty sure mine has a lift and with 235/85R16's it handles well for general purpose driving and I'd describe the steering as light. I've no idea why your floor should get so hot, maybe that's a V8 'thing'? Mine has a five speed box and it would probably do 100kph at close to idle in fifth - the thing's a beast on the freeway.
But if I had to drive in the city all day the County wouldn't be my vehicle of choice.
