Exhaust is on the pasenger side so I don't worry about it. Normally I just open the vents and then wonder why everything is covered in dust
.
I haven't been here for a while but it's nice to know that it is still a helpful forum and the regulars are still around offering good advice.
Just asking the question on what other owners have done to try and reduce the heat from the exhaust and thus cutting down on the heat around the drivers feet and seat mount. I know the aircon isn't the best in a 2002 TD5 but then again it is trying to compete against excessive exhaust and engine heat?
Cheers Eric

only extra heat i get is from the heating system, which i have fixed by putting an external tap on the inlet hose in the engine bay, dont get stray heat anymore.
I have used exaust wrap on my little pug hatch back. Worked extremely well, i could touch the exaust while it was at full temp. The exaust in the pug got the carpet so hot i don't know how it didn't melt!
Most speed shops sell the stuff. I used stainless steel lock wire to hold it in place. Think it was 60 dollars a roll. Becareful as it is fibreglass you will itch for days after use!!.
just be carefull with the exhaust wrap, its not exactly kind to the exhaust pipe
here is what I did to my MY02 D110 Xtreme
