    auxiliary tank

    Hi guys,

Was wondering if anyone has or has seen the 80L long ranger auxiliary tank installed on a defener 130 in person and seen it out in the bush in action. Can you tell how it goes with clearance under the truck.

    Cheers Jye

I have the 129 litre centre tank and the 38 litre side tank fitted to mine. Have only scraped the tank a couple of times.

Great. With a total of 167 odd litres I have great range and the smaller tank doesn't hang down any more than the body work. It's the same corner tank they fit in the 110's.

Not a 130 but should give you some idea

It comes down to about level with the bottom of the chassis rail and has a taper up toward the sill. You will lose the cubby box under the seat.

You might also like to try Exploz, they run a banner ad on this site and they make auxilliary sill tanks for both 110's and 130's.
