Thread: Michelin XZL 750r 16

Hello from New Zealand are these tyres available in Australia?
showed on the michelin website? maybe in NSW?any Tyre dealers
Interested as they are one of the best expedition tough tyre, I remember in Africa the thorns used to puncture our Goodyears sidewalls 3 times a day, changed to Michelins with the tough sidewall and no problems!!

You can definitely get them in Australia still.

I got 6 last year, but the tyre dealers I rang (in Adelaide) all said they were not available. I ended up ringing Michelin direct and organising it through them. I think I got the number off their web page.

They were not cheap ($325ea from memory) but should last for ages. The only slight negative I'd mention is that in the wet (on bitumen) you have to be a bit careful, and of course they are not quiet like a highway tyre.
