Quote;;[The only problem, which I failed to see when making the new arm, was that now the fuel light comes on with about 30L of diesel left. Is there any way to change this sensor in the gauge? ]

Is this a low fuel warning light,,in which case it should be there, although it does seem a tad high,, but in a long range tank, might be a good thing

After fitting a long range tank in our Td5, we found the same thing. The low fuel light used to come on with around 15 litres but now with 30 litres. And yes, our gauge reads full for around 250 to 300 k's.

Another thing our gauge does is occasionally sink to fuel light level when the tank has more than half capacity. Of course to attend to this, is a tank out job, which I'm not that interested in at the moment.
