    First pics of my Fender

Here's a couple of pics of Big John, named for my Dad who passed away in January. There's a bit to do but he's basically solid and as we're looking at a keeper for life, I'm in no rush!

Nice find. Strangely, it looks very similar to my 110 - who woulda thunk it

Wish I had your snorkel though!

When I think of all those lost years before I had a Defender it makes me depressed and I need to think of the golden years since 2004.

I surprise myself sometimes at how little I hanker for a brand new one. I start to dream and then realise ,hang on, the one I have is all I need and is set up just how I want.

    $15000 is not much.

    Buy one.

Big John is lovely - well done. I too, have my Defender - not named after, but because it reminds me of my (other!) Grandad who used to take me out in his Series 1. I know Grandad would be proud to know I now drive a Defender.

You have joined a wonderful fraternity - remember to wave.
