The genuine LR barrier is not ADR approved and thus not available through LR Aust. I believe LR UK has asked that they not be shipped here after several people imported them from the UK. They fit without any modifications to the vehicle. I think there's a thread I contributed to about these that has some pic's.

There is also a fit kit available

As soon as I found out, I organised an installation with a local retailer for next Wednesday.

I will post some photos as soon as it is installed in the defender.

I notice that the cb isn't on Milford's website yet ,but the factory assured me this afternoon that it is now available nationally for all of you not living in Adelaide.

I have a trip planned for the nullabor at the end of this month so it is really good timing since I've been waiting for it all year.

Judging by the floor fitting at the base of the barrier I might have some difficulty fitting this together with the Outback drawer unit.

I wonder if the Rovacraft barrier recently released is compatible? It's certainly much less expensive.

I'll be able to give you a definitive answer to this very question soon - OL have ordered one for me - I have Outback drawers.

    Hi Lou

I guess that Stuart can speak for himself but here is a pic of the rovacraft model.

OL rang me regarding fitting the Milford with Outback drawers - they said they'd need to modify the barrier to fit it - it's then not rated. I cancelled my order.

So I'm back to square 1 with no cargo barrier.

this is exactly why we didn't rush out and buy a draw...and have been waiting for a guard to be released so we could have a draw built to fit around the barrier.
