    Chicken and egg situation:

It has taken a very sluggish Milford over 2 years to modify its design to suit the 07 Defender. Outback got in first and without the benefit of having a barrier to work with. Maybe it'll get around to modifying its drawer unit to suit the 07 Defender with an 09 Milford barrier....they were able to do this with the previous models.

The Milford barrier has 4 finger tightened mounting bolts but each has an extension arrangement so that it can be mounted behind the front seats as well. I haven't bothered to remove these and on the floor mounts I have just swivelled and tucked the extension rail under the barrier. The barrier is well clear of any metal parts but mine does just touch the plastic ceiling lining at top dead centre. This I notice squeaks when offroad and the vehicle is twisting and bumping...but not really noticeable in the scheme of things.

The third picture shows that Milford have considered access to the strap that activates the seat tilt mechanism. I don't think that the rovacraft one has.

BTW Bluewagon what are the objects on the plastic trim on the left hand side under the window?

3 DIN sockets connected to dual battery setup. Only really needed two in the back (one for fridge + spare) but the 3 socket panel was same price as a double.

My final approach is to see if the Milford half barrier that was designed for the Outback drawers will fit the Puma - OL are looking into this for me now. I'll let you know how it goes.
