Mysterious sticker on my TC plus TC ID!

    Hi People,
I changed all the oils this morning and whilst cleaning around the level plug on the transfer case I found a fragment of a sticker which reads '+ 10 ratio' and '4 WD'. Sorry no camera at the moment but it doesn't look like a typical LR sticker. Any ideas?
And whilst I'm on the subject, can you tell the pedigree of a TC from its serial number? Mine reads D2 then 22D562193G; I reckon it's not '97 like the rest of the car...

    Ta!

That sticker would be '1.410 ratio 4wd' which is standard Defender high ratio for this country. Some others in other countries were equipped with 1.612 Ratio high range with the 4 cyl petrol and IIRC the NA 2.5 diesel.

Can't help with the serial numbers, but I think 22D is correct for that era.
