    isuzu diesel county ser. 1

hi any one know where a county with the isuzu diesel is. I want one suitable for wrecking. Dont care what condition the body is in or the motor for that mater as I am going to use a late model 4bd1 turbo out of a truck. Just need to find a old county to rob gear off engine mounts etc.
Going to rebuild my 95 defender wagon over the 12 months. Recon its time for the bigger engine.

Sorry can't help with Isuzu Landie.

What was the last year that the 4BD1T was used? I would have thought earlier than 95.

If this is the case, have you checked on legality of fitting an engine that is older than the vehicle, or don't emission requirements affect diesels in 95 vehicles (I know the 300tdi had no emission controls)?

Good luck with it, they make a great heart transplant for Landies.

    Hi Bushbuddies,

C H T did this a little while ago. His write up is over here

There is a fair bit of conversion talk in the Isuzu board

Yep, C H T is a top bloke. Helped me a lot with my R380 conversion.

Best bet may be to pop an add in the Market Wanted section, although Isuzu 110's are pretty highly sort after around here.. but they do come up on ebay from time to time.
