Angry Family of angry chipmonks in dash

I seem to have a family of angry chipmonks living in the dash. It would appear to be directly in front of me. It happens on virtually any road with any form of bump in it, and they are quite loud This is not something that strikes occasionally on a dirt road, but something that happens consistently around town.

I've pushed various areas of the dash and have been unable to stop it. Does anyone have any ideas before I pull the dash apart of common causes of chipmonks? Please?

If they're chipmonks they should be celibate chipmunks!

Try a can of silicon spray get under the dash and squirt annthing that looks like it might rub move or squeek. I get mine from spotlight it comes with a long thin tube to get into tight spots.

Fixed simular in the past and the good thing is it is not as messy as CRC etc.

Andrew - that's a good idea. I've got some of that. I'll just have to remove some bits to get a bit of coverage in there.

@Ron... gees.. no wonder they are so noisy. Those Chipmonks look very scary.

I guess I must have been in a rush as safari is dutifully telling me I can't spell..

Chipmonks don't sound too bad. I have mice in mine and the noise they make is too high pitched to accurately tell where it's coming from .

Instead of silicon you could try a teflon spray which will dry and not collect dust etc.
Haven't had to kill chipmunks with it but we used to use it when I was sailing small dinghies as it lubricated really well but didn't attract sand/dust.

Bunnings has it - pretty sure its a Selleys product - Ezyglide ??? or something like that.
