I am not familiar with the Racklander , but I have a Jaram roof rack on mine with a perspex air dam on the front ... i had the drumming too nyting over 80km per hour or cross winds

I took the legs off it and cut them down so the rack has next to no gap the difference was amazing , re worked my awning so it fits really nice and tight between the rack and the side of the body work

mind u I have no where to slide my table now .. it used to bolt up between the roof and the rack

Easy fix buy a 4bd1.
My roof rack has never made a noise.
I have heard they make pintle hooks quiet as well.

I have fitted an alunminium or stainless folded section to the front of my racks for years.

Don't think I have one now though as the Isuzu fixes all other noises!!

Will tray to expalin; 20mm section flat to fix to front of rack.
Fold 50mm long section to run down at 45 degrees towards front of vehicle.
Return fold at 90 degrees to run back at 45 degrees to rear of vehicle.
Return fold at 45 degrees to make flat section at 20mm at base of profile.

Not sure why it works , I justy saw it years ago on a tradies rack and got them folded up.

It may be something to do with the air rushing around that 90 degree proifle and not closing the air patern until it's past the rack.

I have the 2 meter windcheater from Dolium, (which I believe is also marketed as the Rackmaster from O/L) on my 110, its mounted over the rear flat section up about 60-70 mm. I haven't noticed any noise from it at all, however when I got it they gave me a small square (40cm x 40cm ish) of aluminium plate with a little lip that they called a wind deflector, and I installed it as they suggested, underneath the front of the rack. Do you have this?

I have a Rackmaster on my FL2, at first I drove without it and the vibration made it impossible to go over 80km/h. Once fitted normal highway speeds were possible again, if you don't have it you need it.
