Funny, I read that in the user manual. I asked the salesperson when taking delivery and she said: 'nah, you can put foot, don't worry'!

Glad I stuck to what the user manual said

With the computer management system, I'm not sure, but I suspect the dealer could download information history of vehicle speed, duration, run times, idle times, max RPM, temp, engine loadings, etc.

I know all this is possible with Cat, Komatsu, Detroit mining gear & road transport stuff, and has been for some time. Can anyone confirm that it can be done with the puma defenders too?

Nah close enough will be when it actually comes out and gets replaced which it is when it goes back into the dealer..because even though it has been overhaulled twice it is still not right.

Along with my geabox and transfer case being pulled....

Dobbo...I don't keep anything quite you should no that by now with all my other threads, My car has been a problem and still is a problem i have never denied that to anyone

But as the dealer have been very good about dealing with us and our issues I have simply had no reason to jump up and down and tehre for constantly talk about the issues with my car...as I feel they are being dealt with.

Does this change my opinion on the car, Nope and I'm still planning to take the car to the cape next year

if frank the bass would bite as predictably as you do i'd be 40k richer. don't worry I have nearly blown my first diff and it isn't the front, the way it's sounding it should only last another 100 or so thousand km's

perhaps if we never had someone out constantly fishing everyone would be richer...

why not just join the conversation like a normal person. Silly of me to think that your comment that I was replying to was a genuine normal one rather than a fish.

Thats a bloody good point, when I first got my County I had rear vibrations and noise, thought it was the diff, changed the diff oil, slight improvement in noise but the vibrations were still there. I figured it must be a County thing or the Isuzu, then a couple of weeks later Lokka noticed that the rear shaft was out of phase.
