"Alternate Energy" sensitive Draghtsmen - QLD
Morning all,
Really just a first port of call and you just never know what AULRO will reveal.
I would like to discuss our very long drawn out housebuild in Cooktown with a drafty who has experience / is sensitive to different ways of doing things to the average FNQ house of chucking in a split system AC and calling it good!
I have sketched some plans that include passive cooling designs and am interested in adding in some low voltage powered heat transfer / cooling tower / evaporative cooling chimney. Build will have a 12V off-grid solar setup for lighting and have the capacity for moving air and or water.
The building envelope is within the forest so there is already plenty of passive cooling from the surrounding trees but the forest also reduces windspeed and increases humidity.
I have a local builder who I trust to build to the mm what is on a plan but am seeking the right person for the pretty picture job??? Any recommendations?
Obviously with all the energy efficiency palaver new building need a QLD drafty will most likely be the easiest option?
Regards,
Steve
