Thread: Fridge battery/charging/solar advise

I have been told before that I am wrong(not by you)but shouldn`t the winch be powered off the starting(cranking)battery?, if so then the smaller battery should be ok for the fridge

Yes you are probably right.


My Suzuki has the winch connected to the second battery, tho it uses a plain HD solenoid to connect the batteries when the motor is running. It was also easier to connect straight to the second battery in this case. If I was using a VSR, I would have probably connected the winch to the main crank battery.
