EV general discussion

If we get cut off from oil supplies, we'd have to Electrify Everything (a plug, pun intended, for Saul Griffith's book) as it'd be no use driving an electric car to the shops to buy food if the trucks can't deliver it.

We couldn't even deliver goods by train as AFAIK all our freight trains are diesel, with only the metro passenger services being electric.

Your wasting your breath. This thread is just amazing, it truly highlights what a cult like obsession this ev/green crap is. Mainstream media is every bit as nuts.... actually I think there was one that was as nuts ... but in the common sense direction (but far to extreme.... was it sky news?). Either way, there is no common sense anywhere to be found in any of the media. You MUST join there cult/religion though, otherwise you are simply a crazy to be ignored and treated like an imbecile.
