Go look on YouTube.... there’s a guy racing a Tesla that takes on vehicle after vehicle then drives home.

Gets quite a lot of runs (I was surprised and impressed)

I have watched those... He has peed off a few people to... funny to watch... although he does say now that the ETs are getting a bit slower... his thoughts are maybe the batterys are losing a bit of power. It's actually quite interesting to watch.

Pricing on the Aussie RHD "vette" will be interesting.
U.S, sources are quoting $60K U.S.,......but that is for the very base model, and there will be a multitude of options for this car.
I would expect Aussie versions to be, as usual, well specced up when they arrive, so just guessing, I'd expect the price to be well over $100K.

If I had a tattslotto win I would certainly like one of these.

Unfortunately, on my income I will have to settle for my good old D2
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

Chev. displayed new super you beaut brake discs at their display at the Indy 500 couple of years ago. Made of some composite material. Said to last the life of the car and would be standard on the next Corvette. The rep. told me that the greatest source of complaints about service life was customers complaining about having to replace brake discs which most owners thought should last forever so GM think tank came up with these. I wonder if these got into production.

I see wheels are predicting $150-$170k for the vette:
Here’s how much the Corvette will cost in Australia
My thinking however that HSV is doing the Camaro from $159k so I cant see the vette undercutting that price in Australia.

I thought the Camaros started at about $85K.

In my opinion the front looks good, the rear also looks good it is what is in-between the two I do not like.
It has been designed to compete with the euro supercars.
It has been reported that a lot of people cancelled their 2019 Corvette orders once the new mid engined one was confirmed for 2020.
    I would buy a C7 before a New C8 purely on looks.
