The LR has a name (Beelzebub, I think) and a character of its own. For a significant part of the movie, the focus of attention is on the LR. Some of the funniest moments involve the LR. The scene at the gate with no dialogue surely rates up there with the very best silent movie comedy. Dare I suggest it almost steals the show?
She was known as "the antichrist" and has "BC" number plates. When Andrew Stayn left the winch running and the Landy climbed the tree... Ai Ai Ai Ai Ai!!!!!!!
    I LOVE that movie!!!!!

The black and white movie, "A town like Alice', featuring Peter Finch and Virginia Mckenna, and a nice series 1 shorty, near the end of the movie, in Alice Springs.
Also a split second appearance of a Rover, (series2?), in ACDC,s video clip, "Its a long way to the top".

    Never So Few (1959)

    Movie: Never So Few (1959)

today on GEM this war movie was shown where Frank Sinatra, Gina Lollobrigida, Steve McQueen & Charles Bronson almost by themselves won the Burma War !!!!!

In one scene they stole a Nip S2 Land Rover and ran amok through an airbase blowing all the assets up

How do we know it was Nip? - it had a Jap flag painted on it of course!

How did we see it at night ? - the base lighting was very good I suppose

(well that's what happened in the movie!)

naturally they knocked off all the Nips and won the war !!!

    .................................absolute crap
