this has become very similar to the land rover V toyota "arguments" on some of the other forums. here i was thinking that Land rover nuts were more enlightened, but i guess from what i've read here, you're not.
    never mind, your loss.
anyway, to answer someone's question, yes Dr Karl is still on, thursdays at 11am sydney time, and i think he's on 702 just before that....same building ya see!

Yep, we're not enlightened because we don't listen to JJJ or like it

We shouldn't say its crap, if we think its crap, because you don't think its crap

Your right, its like LR vs Tojo

How do you like driving your Toyota?

I gave JJJ another try this morning on the way to work.

    It reaffirmed my opinion.

But the (pre-programmed) alternatives were no better.

I really like JJJ but I can see how it's not everyone's cup of tea. Personally I find the forced laughter of the commercial jocks and those whingey nasal women really grating.

Best shows on TV, Mythbusters, Top Gear, underbelly!

    And the Shak!

    look, each to their own.
i don't really care about what you listen to, as long as it is not in earshot of me.
what i do care about is when my personal taste is described as "crap". you can dish out plenty of criticism but obviously get all uppity when it's turned back on you.
    let's just agree to disagree,
this was supposed to be a friendy chat about TV anyway.
BTW, when i had a toyota 20 yrs ago, i enjoyed driving it plenty. unfortunately the salt air on the northern beaches liked it a bit more than i did. i also liked driving both of my Suzukis and my jeep, until it started costing me loads of money just to keep it running.

My favourites are Scrubs, Dr Who, Spicks and Specks and The Bill. I didn't mind Monarch of the Glen, too, way back when. I'm looking forward to seeing Torchwood (we only just got Ten here). As for the rest, I could take it or leave it, though I avoid "reality TV" like the plague.

Sorry Matt but I also listen to JJJ due to I dont like adds and I dont like hearing the same song 20 times a day on a NO REPEAT WORK DAY yadda yadda crap......

Yes they swear and play songs with the F word in it and a lot of their veiws are a bit on the left wing side of things but I would rather listen to that than some add about furniture or nasal delivery systems for penile performance.

As for TV shows, Scrap heap challenge on ABC2, Tues and Thurs night Ramsays Kitchen, MASH everyday at 5pm if I can and then what ever Mrs Mc wants to watch, House, Bro's and Ho's etc.

The Shak is a kids show on in the afternoons, like totaly wild sort of science vs comon interest sort of show which is filmed at Dreamworld on the goldcoast.

My kids love it but because they live at their mums during the week I dont have to watch it
