no worries. Previous post sounded like you had been through both.

Whilst I have an obvious interest in the Welford article I thought Sam Purcell's 2 part article on the Madigan Line was full of excellent practical information for those willing to take on such a trip.

His 130 carried a huge payload and performed really well. Losing an axle cap might not be a worry in town but it wouldn't be wise to leave it like that in a remote location when you are ploughing through sand all day. Certainly I wouldn't.

Obviously it is impossible to constantly come up with "new" concepts when doing a mag and there are inevitably commercial realities that come into play.

Subscribers come and go and whilst a recovery article might be old hat to some, it is probably news to a certain % of people who buy the mag.

At least Pat's mag is still a mag with ads, not a marketing house flogging cheap garbage through a mag.

    Cheers

I do like Pats mag, it's usually a good read, but I can't handle the show anymore, to many ads and only 10% of the show itself, the Madigan line show Part 1 was really good, but part 2 was terrible, it's like they saved up all the ads for part 2, very disappointed in part 2.
    Cheers Baz.

You obviously didn't see his previous post with that very link. We have now watched them both and have their site in Favourites to look at more of their Videos.
