As I don't take many pix and I really don't have the interest to do so, the second hand *ist D is Ok for me.
I couldn't justify spending thousands on a camera that would hardly be used. 'Twas the same with my film cameras. My daughter complained we've got virtually no photos of her or her late brother over the past 15 years.

I used to cart the digital camera around and not take photos.

As a result, I am now tending to leave it at home. It's too heavy to lug around. I'm now sorry that I bought the 18-200 zoom - a waste of money. It seemed a good idea at the time.

I recently went to the Gold Coast for a week and took 5 or so shots. Ditto with my trip to Darwin - actually I took none in Darwin - just a few flying over the Channel Country.
