Very dark on back for a Kestrel,but it maybe just the light making it appear dark.Quote:

Thanks Paul ... it was about 300mm or so I thought he was a bit small for a brown falcon, but wasn't sure.

Here's some sort of (German) duck on a floating island of debris with two young just broken out of the eggs. I didn't realise the eggs & young were there until I viewed the 'graph on the big screen. There's also a couple of fish there to sustain mother duck while she does her thing.

Not a real clear shot by the standards here - only shot with a Canon SX 60HS - but IMHO, an interesting shot none the less.
