Spied this Greater Coucal or Crow Pheasant (Centropus sinensis) (I'm no bird expert, had to look it up) battling, killing and then eating a snake that I cannot identify (no expert here either).
Had to shoot through a rather grimy and heavily tinted window so quality is not what one might have expected from a Nikon D3s + 28-300 combo.

The fresh remains of an Adélie penguin, Pygoscelis adeliae having just been lunch for a Skua. I took this a few years ago on Zolotov Island, Antarctica. I've used this photo to settle the argument about whether penguins have knees.

The light was bad, the crop is very big so I have to make this image a bit artistic to made it presentable.
