Thank you for posting, we used to have a small native garden with 50 different types of grevilleas which attracted birds and other native life.
here are some of my favorites birds captures from there.

The next it is a juvenile pale headed Rosella with her red cap

The next it is a juvenile blue faced honey eater with its green face

    and here is the adult

Thanks Arthur,if we didn't have noisy miners here at home, we would have a lot more birds around, our garden is full of trees. They are actually culling them in some areas of western NSW,and the reports are many species of other birds move in replacing them very quickly.

There are plenty Noise miners in the Wide Bay area but the Blue faced honey eaters and the green rats keep them quite.

Male figbird. The female is flecked and has no red around the eye,vey similar to an Oriole.

The red around the eye goes white when they are angry,we had one in a cage for 16yrs when i was a kid.Found it on the way home from school, was a little pink thing with no feathers. It used to imitate the horn of the Series 1,and the posties whistle, bloody annoying. In those days there were no permits needed for keeping native animals.
