    Eungella Honeyeater

This is not a particularly attractive bird but it is significant in that it has one of the smallest ranges of all Australian Birds. Pictured here next to its favourite springtime food, the Climbing Pandanus flower.

After updating Lightroom tonight to the newest version, I revisited a couple of shots from a few months ago I had not yet played with....

Dave, I reckon more than half the enjoyment is finding them and taking the shots..... I had an unfair advantage with the two above ... they were captive. Getting wild birds to sit where you want them is a totally different game

I enjoy the shots you post...often birds I don't see that often down here....

    A wet 'wong

    Hi,
Trying out a new camera and it is raining out side.
We have a few clinking currawong that come in for a treat now and then.

    Cheers

Not a bird of course, but it's not often you get to see a baby orphan black-headed flying fox being hand fed with a bottle, so here's a shot with my phone. Very cute, has a lot of personality and loves having her tummy rubbed.
