Maybe I'm a slow learner but after the last few comps I'm about ready to give them away.

The last few comps have had few participants, and it's even been difficult to get winners to put up new topics.

Nobody has commented that there is no topic from last weeks comp, so maybe as a collective we don't really care.

Anyway - I've lost the drive to carry on with them , if someone else picks up the ball I'll still participate when I can.

Hi Martyn, I must appologise for not getting a new topic up, I have been away for the last 3 weeks and out of cell phone reception range for the majority of the time.

What are the 'rules' for entry? Can anyone post a picture (that they have taken), so long as it meets the subject criteria? Cropping only, or photoshopped images allowed? etc etc.

Also, how are they judged, by the collective or the person that posted the subject?

Maybe a refresher on the 'rules & regs' would be a good idea. If I knew what I was supposed to / could and couldnt do Id certainly post any appropriate pic's.

By the way, congratulations to the winner - excellent photo. Was that straight out of the camera, or worked on? What camera settings? Given I only live around the corner it's inspired me to pop outside and try to re-create it!
