    I have two questioins

    Hi Guys Firstly

Does anyone have an eyecup on their Nikon or maybe even Canon..
I'm considering getting one because I do dislike the rubber eye piece that comes as standard. My question in relation to this is I have noticed the eye cups are shaped possibly for best fit an comfort however the shape looks like it would suit being shot in land scape is there any issues with using an eyecup in portrait???

to give you an idea of what I'm talking about

    Rubber Viewfinder EYE CUP FOR Nikon D600 D7000 D5200 D5100 D3200 D3100 AG03 | eBay

Secondly I have the Nikon wireless shutter release button...but I'm considering buying a wired remote as I was never sure when using the wireless whether it was working properly due to no noise or indication whether the camera had recieved the signal and fired. In some situations I found it a bit of a PITA to be honest...

Can anyone recommend a remote for the Nikon...I'm not looking to pay huge money anyone got any good experiences or can recommend a brand?

Re Q2: I recently bought an TC-80N3 on Ebay from the seller axdeal for $40. Works a treat and I assume there'd be a similar device on there for Nikon.

I have the original Nikon for my D200 but you can get cheap ones HERE

For wired system I use my LT with Nikon Camera Control Pro connected to the USB port. It is a very versatile system.

I have only used a round eyecup, I'm still using my f3, and rate them as nice to have but not essential. I would imagine that for a shaped eyecup you would be better off getting one which can rotate like this Vello ESN-DK23 Eyeshade for Select Nikon Cameras ESN-DK23 B&H
