Finally got the shot hey derek

Yes This guy was really inquisitive and so close that the 70-200 + 1.7xTC was actually at times to much.

I've also found that what I thought was a fantastic lens (Nikkor 70-200 f/2.8) on the D200 is even better on the D3s. The focus acquisition on this camera is incredible and this lens becomes even quicker. Makes me wonder what the new version of this lens would like. But also makes me think I have no reason to update it.

My two girls.

I was lucky enough to get a Nikon D3000 for christmas, which is my first camera .
Took this out at Glasshouse Mountains with stig0000 and shamo.


It was pouring down so it was a bit rushed but I think it turned out alright.

And a shot of Annie one of 2 cats.



Any comments/tips/constructive criticism appreciated, thanks.

Don't need a tripod as PS will align any reasonable mismatch of the shots.

Tried that, but PS refused to play and was giving memory errors blending the layers.

Lucky I took a few longer time exposure with the camera resting on a fence post as backup to make an HDR from.



For a backup shot I'm pretty happy!

Yep you can almost make out the water dripping into the footwell of the defender

Taken with a cannon PowershotG3,point & shoot,so isn't real clear.

Should update,but this camera just keeps on going.
