Very nice images, love the place as well!
The dark spots on the second image can be PP if you have Viveza in the filters of you PS. which will bring this very nice image to another level!
The exposure on all of them is spot on, you need grad filters like me and then there will be no dark areas

    Cheers

Arthur, thanks for the feedback as always The problem with the 2nd shot (and all that I took from the spot) is that the RH rock face was in full sunlight, meaning I had dramas dropping those levels down while maintaining the LHS. Using PSE is limited and CS4 is on my list this year, maybe a xmas pressy

I've just read an article on applying "grad filters" during post editing which I'll try but at the end of the day I think my position on the rocks was a poor choice. Having said that, it was slippery and I was by myself so was exercising some caution. I've got a 10-20mm coming which would have been excellent in this location.

The image can be improved in less than 5 minutes so keep the original safe and it will be Ok
If you are thinking in buying PS get PSCS5 which is very good by the reports that I have read.
Have a look this articles as well.

Resonance. It is surprisingly important on bridges. The millennium bridge in London was closed for reinforcement two days after it opened to rectify this. The repairs took two years.
