i have a nikon f55 film slr that has been sitting around for a couple of years, quite surprised the battery still works and has a used film....must get it developed
Q can the lenses be used on say a DSLR?? i have an AF 28-80mm and AF 70-300mm
if not is the camera worth anything in this digital age
And let me add to that, I assume these are AF-D lenses. If they are actually have the G suffix, then you're fine with any Nikon.
Sorry, got that wrong, G has the same AF-D autofocus, if it was AF-S you'de be ok. You could go for a D70 or D80 (though not new anymore).
this is the info written on the lens's
Nikon AF NIKKOR 70-300mm 1:4-5.6 G
Nikon AF NIKKOR 28-80mm 1:4-5.6 G
sadly nothing after the AF
Yep, sorry, in that case D40, D60, D3000 and D5000 won't do the AF bit.
I use all my old Nikon 801s on my D200.
Get a used D200
or...... let me know how much you want for your old lens
There is one D200 for $850 ono HERE
i see there is one on ebay ending tonight NIKON D200 DIGITAL SLR - eBay, Digital SLR, Digital Cameras, Cameras. (end time 31-Aug-09 21:18:49 AEST)
Ask how many shots it has.
My as an example have under 6000.
Life of the camera I think it is 100000 shots
It is a fantastic camera with sealed body.
Cheers
