If NN didn't do anything then I guess that's as good as it gets, B&W will help there.

I know what you mean about the uploading, becomes a chore with too many images. I use the Flickr Uploadr program now days and find it makes things a lot quicker as it will name, keyword based on the ITPC data and also resize and let me preselect the set I want each image to go into.

I use lightroom to export straight into flickr, so it isn't problem at all. The only reason that I only add a couple of pictures a day is that no one looks at all of them, this way people that subscribe to my feeds are more likely to see all the pics over a few weeks.

Didn't realise that was available in Lightroom. I can do it from iPhoto'09 but not from Aperture 2. More I learn of Lightroom the more I'm starting to swing away from Aperture. Mind you Aperture does have a good workflow though. I'm going to have to go to PS CS4 (or CS5 if I can hold out) next year, so might look more at Lightroom then.

Don't have a mac so can't comment on aperture, but Lightroom is fantastic. The export to flickr is a plugin that cost a couple of dollars but is very handy, even has one to facebook.

The only thing that lightroom is missing is the making of books, have seen examples of it done in aperture and it's amazing.
