In a tiny 2 person lightweight hiking tent for the moment, but i'm thinking about building a hard roof/Maggiolina style RTT. Or else a swag.

A centre pole tent for several years, but now a slide on camper as seen on my avatar and signature.

One of the reasons for the upgrade was camping at Sandy Billabong in the NT and thinking that there was only thin canvas between me any any crocs that might emerge from the billabong at night.

    Swag...

Love the swags... Easy to fall onto after a few nips of Scotch

Or in the Cabin of the SharkCat if its that type of trip
Think of it as a twin hulled Camper trailer that floats...

Swag if it's the better half and I.
Tent(s), tarps, everything and the kitchen sink if it's the whole tribe (5 children + hangers ons).
Fortunately now have 2 vehicles, looking at camper trailers though(...and Triumphs....and boats...and....)

Generally we use a touring tent in combination with an awning off the car.
We also use two bushwalking tents every now and then and the awning.

I'm working on a fly and the awning, but the wife thinks the kids are a bit young yet.
