Here ya Baz, on special from Wild Earth.

Sahara Vagabond Deluxe DOUBLE Dome Canvas Swag & Bag

Identical to the Kulkline swag, made in the same factory.

A friend has one, he's happy with it.

    Baz.
    Cheers Baz.

thanks Baz! i haven't seen those kulkyne swags before, the only difference i can see between the two is an 11oz rip stop canvas versus a 15oz rip stop canvas in the Sahara.

Thank you very much for that link to, at that price Im definitely leaning towards the Sahara option as the only other competitors are a cheaper jungle reef double swag by the techni ice group (which has actually had rave reviews so far) or an Oz-trail mitchell double dome swag . Also contemplating whether to step up the extra $200 or so to look at a Burke and Wills product. Will go and check a couple out at the local camping shop.

    Cheers

I did look over my mates Sahara, looks pretty good, well made, can't beat that price either.

I have the Burke & Wills Redgum Double, it is a great swag, we opted for the canvas base to reduce moisture build up, we also got it at a better price, $500 delivered, then about 2mths after we got it, Anaconda had them on sale for $400

But it happens sometimes, still happy with it though.

    Cheers Baz.

I think i noted that you had the Sahara as a second option to the above? Yer well if i can get one at or below that $500 mark then i will opt for that. The redgum and Coolabah double generally push close to $600 retail in most places. I read the sahara has the canvas base to reduce moisture build up and allow it to 'breathe' better. One last thing, are most swags waterproof when rolled up, as in if they were stored on the roof racks and it's raining do they require an extra waterproofing case/cover?Thanks once again for your help and input and those photos look great!
