Thanks Baz. Will be good to see. I have the FrontRunner full length roofrack, which I think is slightly lower than the Rhino Platform. But pretty sure I'll be able to make some type of modification to make it all fit if necessary.

Baz,where it will really come into its own is in the wet weather, they are fantastic,as you can pack the car up in the dry.
Oh,did you know you have lost your rear number plate.....![]()
Thanks Baz. That's a great looking set-up. You've convinced me. Looks like that is the only way to go to clear the ladder on the rear tailgate.
Also means that I can leave the existing awning on the passengers side and use the "room" under that one for sleeping in, and still have plenty of undercover area for cooking / lazing around etc.
Now to convince SWMBO ..............................![]()

Yep exactly what we are doing, we have our old awning on the left also, figured we would use it to put the swag under, which leaves all the space under the Rapid-wing for cooking and lazing about, which also means if it's raining, you're not trapsing around the swag and getting the area around the swag wet and muddy, when you're getting things from the car.
Baz.

One related question I have concerns canopies. For those that have canopies mounted to the side of their vehicles, the choice is 2.5m or 2.0m long.
When offering a tape to the roof profile, 2.5m would seem way too long - with considerable overhand front and back. 2.0m seems much better suited (appearance wise). I'd be interested to learn of people's opinions and whether in reality, a 2.5m long canopy is the right choice.
On our P38, we also have a side awning fitted, went for the 2m version that rolls out 3m, in hindsight I'd have gone for the 2.5m x 2.5m version. It's already longer than the roof but can comfortably extend forward of the windscreen without looking out of place.

rc42. What's your opinion on 2.5m x 3.0m?
