Thread: Trangia Gas Burner Adaptor

I'm with don130 , just last nite bought a single burner sportster 533 from Geelong - it's a ripper ! My olde one was nearly 25 and will keep going .

Not cheap -$105.00 , but geez it works well !

I'm also a fan of the single burner Sportster 533. I've got two which gives versatility (when not able to use my preferred heat source - an open fire) and when used in conjunction with my mesh fire grate gives added stability for camp ovens and/or pots. I also have a small fire grate to use when only using one 533.

Yes Ron I heard you the first time, I'm just being safe and going to an alternative, besides I like my Trangia and this will make it more versatile and usable, it's only used when out exploring or camping solo with the swag, 98% of our cooking is done over a campfire.

Didn't realise I had to give an exact description of why I was going to an alterative
