How do you clean Canvas?
I need to clean the canvas on my Camper-Van, it is heavy-duty green canvas and it has sap stains on the roof panels and some greasy hand marks and dirt (mud) on the sides, also I want to clean my swag as well, I will be waterproofing it all after washing and drying.
Any info or tips would be much appreciated, Regards Frank.

No, just wasn't sure where to post topic, you can move it if it's in the wrong spot/s, Regards Frank.
.... try a gurnie (high pressure hose). I did it with the canvas seat covers and they came up a treat
Bung it in a perforated drum and tow it behind the ship for awhile.

A couple of things that have worked for me are vinegar and also you could try using pineoclean wipes or similiar.
You can also use diluted bleach but if you use that you need to rewater proof it
i have a jeep wrangler soft top and the only thing i have found that will get the mud stains out is the degreaser at carlovers than high pressure hose
I have used a Chux Magic Eraser to clean a dirty canvass tent and poly pull-out awning on my caravan that was covered with tree sap and leaf stains. It is available in a couple of varieties for hard and soft surfaces. We have used the one that is white and has a thin blue sponge on one side. As the name implies, it really works likes magic and takes out dirt and stains that only a harsh detergent might remove.
Good luck with it.
