great idea.........
Here is one for those of you camping with kids who are a bit fussy with their camping tucker.
The roller driver at work has jaffles for smoko and lunch every day,gets a fire ready and toasts away.
The other day as an experiment he brought a cold square pie in for smoko and lunch.Wacked them in the jaffle iron,turned out perfect

bit of pastry, bit of jam and bit tinned apricots or mixed berries, mmm,mmm,mmmmm
obviously you can use what ever you like, tinned apples are good, and for the ones with bubs, bit of babies deserts, different ones are better than others
All this talk about pies and jaffle irons, makin me hungryHaven't had a jaffle pie in years, will have to include one in my camping kit!!
Banana and maple / golden syrup jaffle makes a nice quick hot dessert.![]()
