I like it! BTW, Has anyone thought of turning a Series (or Defender) tub into a camper trailer? As in, just the tray with the fold out tent on top?
It was at Cooma and was towed by a matching metallic grey 110. It belongs to someone on this forum.

Yes guy's that grey one is mine. Here are some pics and a storyline of the build process. Unfortunately I still haven't got around to the canvas bit yet
New Page 1
I just bought a LWB (109) rear body off a Series w/out the sides and roof, I also purchased a SWB Series roof which is a perfect lengthwise fit, I thought about getting the LWB roof and cutting it down, no need, the SWB roof fits perfectly. It is all going on my W/Shop trailer chassis, I will extend the sides up about 450mm and hinge the roof from the front with canvas sides and back, I need it to be high enough (at the rear) to be able to stand, the double bed will be contained in the roof section so as I can use the available space like a caravan and when I want to sleep I just drop the bed down and there's the bed. Paid $275 for the body and the roof (which came with sides and rear swing up door), Regards Frank.
sigh....
if you're in the brissy ipswich area I have a 109 back end complete and a shorty roof section that Im not going to get time or the money to turn into a camper.
its (quietly) up for grabs.
